Masculine Birthday Card

Hi Everyone!  I sure had fun making cards and scrapbook pages over the weekend for the SP&Company online crop.  There's still plenty of time to enter projects--the due date has been extended, so I may make a few more before the date approaches.  We had a great weekend otherwise, too.  It was the first weekend of bike race season for my family.  My husband raced well for the first race of the season.  It was a very large field of racers and we saw many local college kids getting their legs warmed up for Little 500--so it was a young field this year, too.  I took some photos.  Some turned out better than others, but it's always fun to see what you can capture when the racers pass by at an avg of 25mph!    Shall we get onto my card for the day?

I think masculine handmade cards are very hard to do--but I'm pleased with this one.  I let the piece of patterned paper do the work and simply added two banner cuts and stamped the greeting on one of them.  That sentiment is from SU "Bring on the Cake".  It's a great, versatile birthday set.

I hope you have an awesome week!
